For large equipment and mechanical assemblies, preservation often includes protective wrapping, wooden pallet mounting, and proper structural support to prevent damage during storage. Desiccants and humidity control systems may also be used inside the packaging to maintain a dry environment.

Regular inspection and monitoring are essential parts of warehouse preservation. Periodic checks ensure that protective coverings remain intact and that environmental conditions stay within acceptable limits.
